Cheryl Krull

Cheryl is owner and instructor at Octopus Yoga. She loves to focus on a holistic yoga practice of movement, meditation and mindfulness that can be embodied both on and off the mat.  She started her journey as a university lecturer and private music tutor and has over 20 years teaching experience. A qualified Haṭha yoga teacher (300 hrs and Yoga Shred trained) and yoga therapist in training. She is also a kids yoga instructor (Kidding Around Yoga Certified, Accessible KAY Certified, and Preschool KAY Certified), Reiki practitioner, and essential oil wellness advocate. Cheryl's passion is helping others to utilise yoga tools throughout their lives to improve their mental, physical and spiritual health.



About Octopus Yoga

The name ‘Octopus Yoga’ refers to the 8 limbs of yoga: Yamas (Social ethics), Niyamas (personal practices), Āsana (physical postures), Prāṇāyāma (honouring the breath), Pratyāhāra (withdrawal of the senses), Dhāraṇā (concentration), Dhyāna (de-concentration) and Samādhi (complete self- collectedness).

I run yoga classes for adults and kids with a focus on peace and movement whilst learning and experiencing the deeper concepts of yoga .
